EMT – Education, Mentorship, & Training
Creating Pathways to Opportunity
The EMT program exists to help individuals overcome economic hardship by providing the tools, support, and training needed to build a better future. In response to widespread challenges like unemployment, underemployment, and lack of access to job skills training, EMT empowers people to take meaningful steps toward long-term stability and success.
Through education, mentorship, and training, we offer real-world opportunities such as resume assistance, career coaching, supervised internships, and skill-building workshops. Participants are paired with mentors who walk alongside them, offering encouragement and guidance as they navigate job searches, career goals, and personal growth.
Our program serves the Ojai Valley and surrounding Ventura County communities—areas facing significant economic disparities, particularly among low-wage workers and underserved populations. By connecting participants to vital resources and providing personalized case management, EMT helps remove barriers to employment and open doors to lasting opportunity.
At CAPP, we believe real love takes action. EMT is our commitment to turning compassion into career readiness, confidence, and hope.
