Pastor David Wilson gave his life to Jesus in October 1969 and since then has dedicated himself to teaching, serving and pastorship. His motto is: “We need to be in the Word (God’s), be in prayer, to be in Fellowship (in the local church)”.
He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. He served in Vietnam in the 101st Airborne Division. His book “My God and My Story” outlines his testimony.
Through the years Pastor Dave has served at Peoples Church, Ventura (8 yrs); College Heights Baptist Church, Ventura (8 yrs); North Fork Assembly of God, North Fork, CA (15 years); Oxnard Bible Church, Oxnard (21 yrs). He is now Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Ojai Valley.
He has also served on several boards for Christian Organizations in Northern and Southern CA. Recently he was president of the Vietnam Veterans of Ventura County,
He married his wife Sue in 1970. They have two sons, Tim (Oak View) and Jon and his wife Monica live in Madera. Pastor Dave and Sue have three grandchildren, Grace, Jasper, and Stella.
