CAPP is a community-centered initiative with a practical, people-first mission. While CAPP operates as an outreach of Calvary Chapel Ojai Valley, our programs and most of our projects are intentionally secular in focus and designed to serve individuals and families from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life. Our work is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and measurable community impact—not religious affiliation. This approach allows us to partner effectively with a broad range of organizations, including government agencies, nonprofits, schools, healthcare providers, businesses, foundations, and faith-based groups that share a common desire to strengthen our communities.
Through our five core areas—food security, education and mentorship, neighborhood support, practical assistance, and counseling services—CAPP brings together diverse partners to address real-world challenges in meaningful and sustainable ways. We believe the strongest communities are built when organizations with different perspectives unite around shared human needs. By focusing on service, dignity, and opportunity for all, CAPP creates a welcoming framework where collaboration can thrive and lives can be changed together.
