Position Summary
The CCOV Events Coordinator Intern position will play an integral role in the research, planning, marketing and the execution of the CCOV Special Events. The Intern will work with all the teams responsible for executing the special event. The Intern will complete a wide range of activities requiring clear and effective communication, attention to detail, and research.
Responsibilities and Duties
♦ Research target groups and avenues of advertisement.
♦ Contact and maintain communication with vendors and volunteers.
♦ Estimate and manage budgets.
♦ Work with a team to determine vision for special events.
♦ Assist in day of the event management if applicable.
Qualification Requirements
♦ Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
♦ Self-starter with critical thinking and research skills.
♦ Have strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
♦ Flexible in working either independently or as part of a team.
♦ Spiritual maturity as outlined in the Internship Program description.
Education
Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled at least part time as a college or university student studying Bible and/or Ministry, Communications, Marketing, Media, or in a program of similar nature.
Time Commitment
10 to 15 hours per week.
