Youth Ministry Intern

Position Summary

The CCOV Youth Ministry Intern will help direct and oversee the youth ministry; educate, minister to and include teens in the ministry of the church and follow up with the teen guests.

Responsibilities and Duties

♦ Help identify the needs and interests of the youth within the church and community.
♦ Participate in developing and planning programs for the youth ministry.
♦ Help identify and provide ministry opportunities for the youth.
♦ Provide counseling and spiritual direction to the individual youths.
♦ Participate in outreach ministry to youth who have visited the church.

Qualification Requirements

♦ Proficient in computer use specifically MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
♦ Self-starter with ability to perform multiple projects.
♦ Have strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
♦ Have strong background in theology and counseling.
♦ Spiritually mature with the love and desire to serve the youth.

Education

Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled at least part time as a college or university student studying Bible and/or Ministry, Secondary and Christian Education, or in a program of similar nature.

Time Commitment

15 to 25 hours per week.
