Audio/Video Technical Intern

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all skills, responsibilities, and duties required of the position.

Position Summary

The position will include organizing and preparing visual and audio media for the regular church services and special events. The intern will also work from time to time with other technicians and church elders to prepare and maintain the A/V systems for worship, services and special events, as well as maintaining the general A/V system for the overall church staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

♦ Prepare weekly visual presentations.
♦ Set up stages for services and special events.
♦ Line check.
♦ Operate sound board for worship service.
♦ Operate sound boards for special events and services.
♦ Maintain equipment.

Qualification Requirements

♦ Knowledge of audio/video files and formats.
♦ Knowledge of signal flow.
♦ Work well with other technicians, staff, and volunteers.
♦ Analytical and critical thinking skills.
♦ Spiritual maturity as outlined in the Internship Program description.

Education

Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled at least part time as a college or university student studying Bible and/or Ministry as well as audio/visual technology, or in a program of similar nature.

Time Commitment

10 to 15 hours per week.
