There is nothing like walking through the land of the Bible as God lifts His words from the pages and writes them on our hearts in new, fresh, and exciting ways that would likely not have been possible in any other way. It is amazing to discover place after place that are already so familiar because of previous studies in the Bible, as you arrive for the first time in each locale. To walk in the places Jesus walked and stand where He stood as He taught and ministered can be a life-changing experience for many. Pray about joining me in the upcoming trip that is only a couple months away. I am looking for a small group of 6 to 8 people to join me in Israel – our time will be intimate with God and each other – thoroughly entrenched in God’s Word, and customized to the needs of our group. In addition, there is an opportunity to travel deeper in the Book of Acts and the Epistles with the Apostles Peter & Paul extension trip – which can be a stand alone trip visiting Biblical places like Rome, Athens, Corinth, Malta, Crete, & Cyprus.
As a pastor, I am deeply interested in your spiritual enrichment and in how God blesses your friends, family, and congregation because of the transformative work in your life. As a result, there will be rich times of worship, prayer, discussion, and fellowship in addition to the friendship building with God’s people who live in the Holy Lands, and possible opportunities to minister among them. Further, the benefits of the small group allow us to do things that we couldn’t otherwise do, like visit the home of an Israeli Jewish family or Arab Christian and share a meal. Feedback from past participants have said that these events become favorites as they personalize the whole trip with some of the best memories of all.
In addition, you will likely find that your understanding of the Bible as a whole will be greatly enhanced as you see better how it all fits together. Everyone that I know who has visited Israel wants to go back – Christians find a spiritual home there that is difficult to explain – knowing Jesus will one day return to rule the earth from Jerusalem.
